Octoberbikefest in Daytona Beach, Florida is just a couple days away wile writing this posting, yeah! I enjoy working online marketing niche products, joint ventures and training…but when it comes time to play, I’m there! October 16-18, 2009 I will be  taking pictures, drinking and eating bad while walking up and down main street. Octoberbikefest Here We Come

I, Robert Ratcliff, have been attending Bike Week’s since 1988 because of a passion for Harley Davidson Bikes! This is a time to relax and have fun just enjoying life in general with no expectations. The sound, smell and sight’s of bike’s roaring by with ladies dressed sexy it doesn’t get any better. Mind you I have a large family and my wife is my soulmate, also best friend.

The best place to park is the Convention Ocean Center for $20 for the entire day and only three blocks north of main street. Food is expensive but well worth it since they cook it right in front of you on a grill with spices, yummy. Be prepared for the cost of drinks, beer is $4 with a $1 tip, makes it $5…Mixed drinks $6.50 on up. Free entertainment everywhere, but my personal favorite place is Dirty Harry’s.

If you do not have the right outfit for Bike Week , no fear you can pick it up right on main street the first day you are there. You can purchase low end custom leather chaps for $59 and they will size them in the store for you and you can walk out on the strip wearing them, just be sure to have on jeans that are not baggy around the bum if you want to do that. Bike Shirts are everywhere so take your pick or you can just wear a black shirt. Boots are a definite and I purchased a pair of square toed Harley Davidson Boots for $36 bucks off of ebay just my size with very little wear time.

Ladies you can go as sexy as you want or be conservative with jeans and black top. If you wear high heels be sure to carry some sneakers in your bag for the trip from the car and back to it, there is a lot of walking if you plan on walking up and down main street once to check everything out. Sharri and I usually stay around Froggy’s, The Bank and Dirty Harry’s (best part).

Bobby Friss Band does a great job entertaining and apologize for the audio on this, they will be at Dirty Harry’s!

My wife will be at our place overlooking South Daytona Beach with her girlfriends and I will be heading up Thursday after picking a friend up at the airport here in Orlando. So be on the look out for us Friday and Saturday along main street and I can share my story how I learned to market on the internet to help you avoid making the same mistakes I made along the way while having fun at Octoberbikefest!
