Wine and Cheese Party
Wine and Cheese party is a great way to throw a Christmas get together with friends and family! Let us share how easy it is to throw one together in your own home this year, like we do annually.
The best way to have your friends mark the calendar for your annual event is to be consistent with the same time each year. This meaning, choose the same month, week and day for your party. For example, we have our annual Christmas Wine and Cheese Party the first Saturday of December. This helps your friends plan their social calendar when theyremember when your event is happening. This does not mean that you do not sent out invitations. As for invitations, this is a personal choice whether they are “evites” or the classic invitations delivered by hand or by snail mail. Be sure to have your telephone number available in the event your guest needs to reach you.
Whatever kind of theme you have it is again a personal choice. There are many kinds of parties to choose from. Whether you choose a formal/semi-formal affair, potluck, or theme party allow your party reflect your personality! After deciding what kind of event you are having, have your food and drink compliment it.
Be sure to give your guests any pertinent information such as, dress attire, directions to the party location, where to park etc. Bottonline, it ‘s a party, have FUN!!!!
Candles, decorations and table settings will make your home a beautiful festive atmosphere for your party this Christmas Season.
Remember the importance of “eye appeal”. Often hostesses/hosts forget to take the extra time to make the platters and other goodies extra special. If guests are bringing goodies be sure to have extra serving dishes to match your party theme. This is also a great way to ensure guests get their platters, bowls, carriers etc. Simply transfer their food items on to one of your dishes, quickly wash theirs up and put aside to be picked up when they leave.
One important thing that should be done at all your events….taking pictures!!!! Say “CHEESE”!!!! and Enjoy!!!!
