NASCARs Carl Edwards Not Looking Forward To Talladega Superspeedway
NASCAR’s Carl Edwards is incredibly genuine by reaching out to a teenage fan injured with a broken jaw from flying debris from his accident last time at Talladega’s Superspeedway.

With the race at the end you always have drivers being aggressive more than any other part of the race to gain those last precious points for the championship. It was no different at the last race at Talladega Superspeedway known for the Big One.
The Big One often referred to is the one large wreck that usually collects a large number of cars during the race at Talladega. The speeds are so high that when a driver hits the wall, no one can stop in time and it causes a large pile up, resulting in taking out a large number of cars.
Car Edwards managed to avoid the Big One during his last race at Talladega, but went airborne (which is unusual for NASCAR Cars of today with special modifications in place) as seen in the pictures below.
NASCAR’s Carl Edwards in his 99 car flew up into the fence spraying debris into the crowd injuring several fans, especially a teenage girl with a broken jaw!
Point of contact with the fence had everyone concerned for the drivers safety if he would even be able to walk away from this horrific crash. NASCAR thought it would be rare for an airborne accident of this nature, yet now know different. All the fences at high speed tracks such as Talladega are being redesigned to prevent fans from being injured such as this one happening here.
Much to fans relief with tear filled eyes, Carl Edwards threw the net down on the drivers window showing he was conscious and began climbing out of his totally destroyed race car. This point it was not know how many if any fans were injured in the stands.
